Sedation Dentistry in South Burlington
We understand that visiting the dentist can cause anxiety for some patients. At Green Mountain Dental, we offer sedation dentistry options to help you feel relaxed, comfortable, and at ease throughout your dental treatment.
Whether you experience mild nervousness or significant dental anxiety, our sedation options can make your visit a positive, stress-free experience.

Our Sedation Options
We offer two types of sedation to meet your needs. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) provides mild, pleasant relaxation that takes effect within minutes and wears off quickly after your procedure.
Oral sedation involves taking a prescription medication before your appointment, providing a deeper level of relaxation for patients with moderate to severe anxiety. Both options allow you to remain conscious and responsive throughout your treatment.

Is Sedation Right for You?
Sedation dentistry may be a good option if you experience dental anxiety or fear, have a strong gag reflex, need extensive dental work completed in one visit, have difficulty getting numb with local anesthesia, or simply want a more relaxed dental experience. Dr.
Aten is certified in sedation dentistry and will discuss the best option for your individual needs during your consultation.
