Everyone wants to have a bright white smile that lights up the room from the moment they walk in, but unfortunately, most people don’t naturally have this kind of smile! Plus, normal wear and tear, decay, and accidents can easily leave a smile looking and feeling far from its best. If you’re concerned about the appearance of your teeth and you’re ready to finally get the quality of smile you deserve, then Green Mountain Dental can give it to you with porcelain veneers. In just two to three easy appointments, we can eliminate any flaw you can imagine and create a look you thought was only reserved for your favorite stars.
A porcelain veneer is actually a very thin shell of ceramic that is bonded to the front of a tooth. We can custom-design it to address any number of aesthetic issues, including:
You can get one to enhance a single tooth or a complete set to dramatically transform your smile.
First, you’ll spend some time talking with your dentist about what you would specifically like to change about your smile. Once they determine that porcelain veneers are indeed the best way to make those changes, they’ll start by preparing your teeth to fit them. This will involve removing a tiny bit of enamel so they lay flat. They’ll then take an impression of your teeth and send it to a dental lab to fabricate your veneers. You’ll be fitted with a temporary set while this is going on, which is a great way to “test-drive” your new smile.
Once your veneers have been made, you’ll return to our office to have them fitted to your teeth. Your dentist will make sure they are comfortable and don’t interfere with your bite before sending you on your way. And with that, your new smile will be ready for the world!
We’ve created some truly stunning results with porcelain veneers, and we can do the exact same for you. To learn more about them or schedule a consultation, contact us today.
If you want the results of porcelain veneers without having any of your enamel removed, this can be achieved using Lumineers. They are very similar to veneers, except they are much thinner and go onto the teeth as is. This makes them less expensive, plus you can always go back to your regular smile if you choose.
