Dr. Tyler Aten
Dr. Aten, a native Vermonter, obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont and received his doctorate in dentistry at the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Aten completed a General Practice Dental Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. The residency included advanced training in general dental services, focusing on delivery of comprehensive dental care. Dr. Aten has since attained several certifications to include sedation dentistry, Invisalign, dental implants, and other state of the art techniques.
Returning to Vermont, he has practiced in the local area before joining Green Mountain Dentistry this September. In his free time, Dr. Aten enjoys many of Vermont’s outdoor activities, including fishing, hiking, camping, and skiing.
Jonathan Bloom, DDS
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Bloom moved to San Francisco at a young age. He became a graduate of Lowell High School, then the University of California, Berkeley with an A.B. in Zoology. He earned his DDS from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry with honors. Dr. Bloom established a general dental practice with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry and family dentistry on March 21,1971.
He is a member in good standing of the San Francisco Dental Society, California Dental Association, Vermont State Dental Society and American Dental Association. He is a committed member of the dental profession.
Dr. Bloom and his wife of 43 years, Susan, moved to Vermont in June, 2008, to be closer to their 5 granddaughters, three of whom live in Colchester, Vermont, and two in New York City. "We were geographically undesirable grandparents. The visits were too short and the good-byes were too painful. We were missing the growing and strong relationship with our 5 delightful girls. Since moving to South Burlington, we've been able to go to soccer games, swim meets, ballet classes, art classes, and Grandparent Days to celebrate the girls."
Dr. Nusi P. Brown
Dr.Nusi P. Brown received a BS degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Hartford in Connecticut and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she received an award for outstanding achievement in operative dentistry.
Dr. Brown is passionate about dentistry and will provide care for children and adults. She resides in Burlington with her husband (a ninth generation Vermonter) who is an attorney at Sheehey, Furlong and Behm.
Dr. Brown enjoys reading, exercising, cooking, and gardening in her free time.
